This business was started as a tribute to the owner’s parents. They were their primary caregivers for 8 years, and want to help others navigate through the emotional journey that caring for aging parents will bring. In addition, Jackie and Bill have a daughter whom was diagnosed several years ago with type 1 diabetes from which can challenge many families on a daily basis.

Our carefully selected staff of caregivers can provide non-medical homemaker, personal care and companionship services for our clients.  They are supervised by a Client Care Coordinator who is on-call 24/7 to handle any issues and to fill in when necessary .Our services are also suitable for those recuperating from injury or illness, and or requiring continuing, personal, companion and respite care from new mothers, busy professionals through our senior population. Home Helpers is certified provider on the Passport Program through the Council on Aging as well as provider for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our services can be tailored to meet the client’s individual needs and can be adjusted when necessary.

At Home Helpers, we provide a free in-home consultation where we assess the needs of the client and further discuss the services we offer. We then match the client with a caregiver that is best suited for their individual needs, not just the next person on the list.  If the client is dissatisfied with the caregiver for any reason, we will not hesitate to find someone more suitable. Our number one priority is complete client satisfaction.
